This item will only work with phones which are Qi2 compatible. Any phone case which is not Magsafe or Qi2 compliant will prevent this item from charging your phone. 
If the vehicle's cigarette lighter socket has been replaced by a non-OE product then there's a good chance that this item may not fit as the diameter and depth of cigarette lighters have changed over the years.
This item does not come with the cigarette lighter socket or any wiring.
Before using this item, please ensure that the vehicle's cigarette lighter is functioning as it should and wired correctly (on a fused circuit) as per the manufacturer's specification.
