911 Engine Cutaway - 911R 1:4 Scale - Framed

Highly detailed 1:4 scale cutaway model of possibly the most sought-after Porsche 911 of all time: the 911R of which only 24 were made (including 4 factory prototypes). To cope with racing conditions, this rare model had centre-lube cams, twin spark ignition (hence the extra large distributor) and a smaller fan than the road-going 911s of the time. All of these features are faithfully recreated in this piece down to the extra-short fanbelt and casting marks on the distributor cap.
 
Made in the UK, set in a high-quality, solid wood frame and featuring anti-reflective Artglass®. Our display pieces are created using a combination of high-detail 3d resin printing, CNC machining and manual fabrication. Every cutaway engine model consists of up to 80 individual parts, each of which is individually fabricated, post processed, airbrushed and hand assembled. No detail is too small to consider - even the fastening nuts are designed to match the originals.
